The
BAMF
High Clearance rear dual swing out bumper is a unique modular design, Allowing you to change or modify your swing out with nuts and bolts. The main swing arms are constructed from .188" thick Laser cut and CNC formed boxed with web stiffeners To reduce the bouncing you get from a tube style swing arm loaded with a big tire and gas cans. Sliding on Bronze oil embedded thrust sleeves at the pivots in double shear with .250" mounting points for a smooth worry free operation. We used Rotary latches (like a car door) for the swing arms for a sleek clean operation. No more spinning a wing nut or a big red handle compression latch hanging off your bumper. Our latches look clean and hold tight with all the weight resting on a
hardened
pin and rubber bumpers for a rattle free drive.
The swing arms are a 180 degree swing design they lock out at 90 and 180 degrees.
The uprights
(the Modular part)
are removable attached with 10 1/2th bolts each. They are constructed entirely from a formed sheet of .134" HRPO steel with .188" stiffeners as well making them extreamly solid.

Thrilled!
We are thrilled with our high clearance bumper. We just got back from Moab and completed Hells Revenge and Fins and Things. The bumper took a few good hits in stride but the clearance is exceptional. The dual jerry can mount and fold down tables were great. We are super happy with every aspect of the bumper. Great quality and design.

Why are you on the fence? Just do it already.
If you're in the majority of Tacoma modifiers that have to take price into consideration when shopping for parts, hear me out. I purchased this bumper second-hand, and even then it was almost out of my budget. I wasn't even going to do a rear bumper at ALL, let alone a high clearance, dual swing out, with rub rails and a spare tire holder. So if you're anything like me, just get this bumper. This. Thing, HUCKS. I have dropped the passenger corner of this truck onto rocks too big to move and not realized it until watching back video later. The hinges, locks, and pins are all beefier than you'll ever need. The ability to cut for 35s is inGENIOUS, and Jerry's powder coat is my favorite thing. None if this chips like traditional powder coat. If you bump or rub something this powder coat is almost rubberized and has a sort of "self-healing" aspect about it. Anyways, at the sake of killing you with boredom, just get this bumper. Get all the bells and whistles, you won't regret it I promise. The guys at BAMF are great, and they will help you build a very badass rig.
