In January 2017 BAMF moved over to Thermoplastic Powder Coating. Thermoplastics are not your typical Thermoset coatings.
This coating is repairable with limited tools. All that's needed to repair your scratched coating is the following:
1. Propane torch
2. 100 grit or higher sand paper
3. Smooth polished metal - a spoon works great for this.
