LCA Skids 2nd Gen Toyota Tacoma/4th Gen 4Runner
BAMF is the first company to provide skids with castor bolt protection. There are some copies out there, but we pioneered the cam bolt protection. These skids provide the most protection and are the best priced LCA skids on the market today.
The skid comes all the way up the LCA, blocking tree roots and other objects from hitting your CVs. We only build our skids from 1/4" plate steel and found that the 3/16th just doesn’t hold up to the abuse of rock crawling. Don’t get us started about aluminum skids.
Specs:
CNC Laser cut and CNC formed 1/4" mild steel.
The set weighs in at 23lbs
Note: Trimming may be needed for fitment with aftermarket IFS skids. In addition, the stock skid will need to be trimmed if you are still running it. Please note these are custom designed to fit your lower control arm, fitment with aftermarket skid plates is out of our hands. Bare steel is recommended just in case you need to trim the skid to clear your aftermarket skids.
Drilling is required for installation.
